On Friday October 17th, YETi will be participating in the Meaningful Play Conference at Michigan State University. Running from October 16th-18th, the Meaningful Play Conference is a biannual conference hosted and organized by MSU focused on bringing together scholars and practitioners in the game industry to discuss the ways in which games can serve to “entertain, inform, educate, and persuade in meaningful ways.”
YETi will be participating in the following two events at the Meaningful Play Conference.
At 2:30 PM on October 17th, Josh Freeney, YETi’s technology lead, will be participating in the panel “Growing the Game Industry in Michigan: 2014 Update” along with representatives from various other Michigan game studios and state leaders to discuss the future of the game industry in Michigan.
From 7:00 to 9:30 on October 17th, YETi will have a booth at the “Pure Michigan Game Exhibition and Celebration” where we will be exhibiting a few of our projects and celebrating the past success and future possibilities of the game industry in Michigan.
